Leap Pediatric Therapy and Sports Medicine caters to athletes of all abilities. Whether you are elite, intermediate, beginner or a special needs athlete, we are here for you! We are dedicated to enhancing young athletes’ sports performance through a focus on injury prevention, performance optimization, individualized injury management and continued care. We are here to help them achieve their personal health and fitness goals. Sprains, strains, repetitive motion and overuse injuries account for the majority of childhood musculoskeletal injuries. Males and children between the ages of 5 and 14 account for most injuries. Playgrounds are the second most common location for unintentional injuries which include sprains, strains and contusions.
